On the back of my well-received talk at Oxford University on the Skoll World Forum stage in April 2019 I began an international tour taking the topic of Artificial Intelligence on the African continent to the world.
Past Dates
Afrobytes Conference
I started off my tour with a stop in Paris where I attended Afrobytes 2019 in May. I spoke on a panel about the current state and future of Artificial Intelligence in Africa.
AI for Good Conference
I attended the gathering in Geneva to network in my capacity as the founder of innovation agency Tripleblack and have conversations on the AI-enabled work we do in the sub-Saharan African region.
Kenya Tour
In June I travelled to Kenya on invitation by the ministry of ICT to speak on the work done by the self-funded Zimbabwean AI skills accelerator programme I founded.
I spoke about our work at six locations in five counties across Kenya to audiences that ranged from high school and university students, startup ecosystems, and the office of the deputy president.
